What motivates you to do things is it money pride family and friends or self accomplishment. Yourself to do it that is what motivation is. Perhaps you wake up in the morning and your really tired and you don't want to go to school, however then you think my parents would want me to go and they would be disappointed if I didn't go so you go cause they motivated you to go. Motivation is a strong thing and has a huge impact on all of us, because a lot of us are scared of letting our loved ones down and hurting them or disappointing them. However it can also be for self accomplishment too and having pride in our actions and choices. Doing something we didn't want to but then we do it and and we feel self accomplishment. Not only can you have motivation at school but at work, am sure there has been some point in everyone's lives where they didn't want to go to work or didn't want to do something that was asked of you at work. something that motivates me when that happens is money if I don't go to work well then I wont get paid for that day and I make less money. However if I do go I get that money and when my paycheque comes out and I got paid for that day there is that feeling of self achievement again. Sports is another thing that we can get motivated for because you have to play sports outside and there are some days where its raining and cold outside and you don't want to go, then you think well if I didn't go I would be letting down my team and disappointing them because they need me we are a team. You go because you don't want to let them down and then you win and it feels so good that you went and were able to celebrate that victory with your team. Motivation is key to everything and really helps you in life. It helps you to do things that maybe you don't want to do but should or have to do. Its also great to be not only motivated by yourself but by your friends and family they help a lot to. I always think there is no one perfect in the world, if they do that is still not me. So the result is to try to be a better person, and that is enough. There are always some powerful people around you, they insist on running fitness every day, working hard every night, they insisted something that we want to do, but we always can’t, are they perfect? No, they are ordinary people just like us. Do they live hard because they working harder? No, they can be very happy too. Do they have perseverance? Not necessarily, they may similar to us. So what is the difference between us? I think it is because we have different conditions. They maintain a better living condition, and we maintain a worse living condition, nothing more. For example: you are at rest, but he is moving at a constant speed, no more laborious, and no more painful; when he goes farther and farther, you remain still. Because of the different states, when you just start to run he is already far away. Running for a year is no more difficult than insisting on running for two months. As long as the first two months of perseverance, the remaining ten months are only used to it. But if you start you will gain more and more, in the long run, in your study, and this is a steady trading. We are sane people, we can see the pain, we can see the painful border, and the endless stream of proceeds. How to reduce the difficulties of "start" ? First, we should learn how to "get started.” A typical "start" is like this: look to the goal, collect information, make plans, officially began. This idea is good, but lack of something, that is trial. Trial should be in the plan, if there is no section of trial in the plan,w whole plan will be worthless. In the most ignorant of the time to develop the most complete plan, of course, it will not succeed. For example, many people are not running yet, but they think about five kilometers per day in the future; somebody even not to the gym yet, but they already planned to show the abdominal muscle after three months. The failure of such a plan is not a defeat of a man, this is because trial is lacking. If you never start to run for a week, you haven’t feel muscle aches, do not jump to talk about a few kilometers a day. People often try to follow what the great leaders are doing, and the things that they have accomplished. If so, does following the leaders makes you a leader? Following the paths where somebody already pioneered? Well, I do believe that true leaders have admirable personalities and the qualities that we can get inspired by. However, only following their example doesn’t change anything if you just stay as a “follower” of another person in your life. Being a follower of another person is not a bad thing, but I do believe that everyone in this world is born with the potential leader requisitions. According to Google, the definition of a ‘Leader’ is the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. Therefore, the term of leader is not only limited for the people who are governing the countries, and the CEO’s of the huge companies. You can be a leader if you are leading a group of volunteers, sports team, or even in a class! It’s not a matter of who accomplished what and did something that benefits the world. The more important thing is that you are receiving trust and positive supports from the people who you are leading. In addition, you are showing the integrity and honor as a leader. Then, what are the qualities that make people the great leaders? High GPA? Wealth? Popularity on the social medias? All of these things completely have no association with becoming a great leader. The substantial qualities are: the positive influence that is inherent inside of you - that the others can look up to, or admire. It can be anything! Ella M Greatful, grateful, gr8full, No word of a lie when i started writing my gratitude journal I had to look up how to spell Grateful- 1. feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful Great-full made more sense to me, full of great right? But I guess that gave me some ammunition for my first entry right? Because what the hell do I have to actually be greatful- there I go again (that is an actual typo) GRATEFUL for. Slowly but surely following Julie Boyer’s steps I ended up finding things every day, big things or small things.Things started popping up around me that I had never taken the time to notice that they were there or that I used them every day. A great pair of sunglasses became a 5 line rant in my journal, a note from my wife written on the window, my kid picking up something that I dropped… But then I started listening to some podcasts and was slammed every day with other peoples stories. Living in the ghetto in Connecticut, growing up 6 people in a 2 bedroom house, nope not my life. Sister with Downs Syndrome that had to be legally separated from her father because he could not take proper care of her and she should not have been living in an institution. Privileged Hollywood upbringing that was exposed to drugs once they got to university culminating in a two hour story on how deep and dark that rabbit hole is. I’m going to go ahead and say 100% I have EVERYTHING to be grateful for no matter how I spell it. Look around the room that you are in and take 5 minutes a day to realize how lucky we are for even the smallest thing. I mean… I’m writing this on a computer I own, in the back of my classroom, teaching a course and a group of kids that I love. Today I’m grateful for that... ha finally, nailed it, grateful.
