What kind of habits do you have? Do you have any habits that is bad for you? Or have you ever get affected by the bad habits in real life? It’s not too late for you to break the bad habits away and start to make a new habit that can positively affects your life! If you ask to people how long does it take to make a new habit, you’ll get the various answers from them. Maxwell Maltz, American cosmetic surgeon (also known for his book ‘Psycho-Cybernetic’), found out that it would take about 21 days for his patients to get used to seeing their new face. Also, he noticed that his when his patients goes through the operation for the dismemberment, they would sense a phantom limb for about 21 days. According to all of these reasonings, he claimed that it would take 21 days to make a new habit. He wrote these experiences in his book and said, “These, and many other commonly observed phenomena tend to show that it requires a minimum of about 21 days for an old mental image to dissolve and a new one to jell.” Scientifically, his opinion have not been fully proven yet. However, it is a general idea that repeatedly doing one thing would eventually become a new habit one day. Really like this blog, I feel like the same thing with motivation the biggest thing with starting or ending habits is just that you have to do it and to not doubt yourself.

It's nice when people write a blog that relates to me so thank you. I have always had bad habits that include procrastinating homework and biting my nails, it took me a long time to stop bitting my nails and now I know long do. I still procrastinate my homework but I'm getting better at making lists of what I have to do and completing them. In my opinion it takes a while to stop a bad habit and I think it depends on the person but it does definitely depend on continuous effort

It’s totally a tough process forming new and good habits, but you have to only get through 21 days to form a habit that could really benefit your life.
