For me and my experience with motivating myself was when I started working out and going to the gym. All it took for me and as cliche as it sounds, I looked in the mirror and thought I don’t like the way I look, and after that I started going to the gym. Now I know it isn’t as simple as saying your going to the gym, you have to actually go and dedicate time out of your day to go. In the beginning it was tough. I thought that results were going to appear right away, but they didn’t. It took about 8-10 weeks and I started to see solid results. I was happy, but not truly satisfied with myself. So I started to work harder, stay at the gym longer, lift weights, and cut unhealthy foods out of my diet. After about 4-5 months I had lost 35 pounds, and started putting on muscle. I started feeling more confident and happy with how I looked. Now the real challenge is keeping the weight off and not going back to your old habits. It helped that I had my family to help support and motivate me to keep the weight off and improve my work habits at the gym. Some of the habits I have and follow are:
Now I know that the gym isn’t for everyone and there are other ways to participate in fitness activities that keep you active and healthy. Here is an article that talks about ways to stay active and motivated. To conclude my blog post I’d like to say that you don’t have to be the strongest person in the gym, your not there to impress people, you are there to make yourself healthy and fit. Most people procrastinate going to the gym or working out, all that you have to do is just dedicate time, it doesn’t matter how much time, to doing some sort of fitness activity. As long as you are happy with your progress that is all that matters.

motivation does for sure help with everything especially the gym. for instance what would you be doing if you didn't get exercise from going to the gym. most people, actually almost everyone would stop going to the gym because if theres no motivation to get there then why start?

Only having motivation is surely not enough for us to achieve anything. We have to really take actions in order to success.

The fact that you put all that time and effort into working out and you were consistent with it is not an easy thing to do and something a lot of people have trouble with so you should be really proud of yourself. I also really like the article you attached to your blog about staying active and motivated it's super helpful!

great blog. I myself have never been happy with myself but honestly i could never go to the gym. Probably cuz I dont care enough and would rather eat a box of donuts. But maybe one day, I guess my biggest challenge as you said, is setting the time aside. But maybe now ill try, or just eat more

i envy how you have such motivation and how you dedicate the time to something that you enjoy. you're so right about how if it's something that matters to you, that you should prioritize that any way that you can and even if that means finding balance in your timetable to do that, its so important. i have never been to the gym in my life so good for you!

A life need to be involve with motivation. A motivation can be something small like wake up at 5am in the morning to study for your Math Test, or it can be big like get into a really good University in the state.

I appreciate that you put a little section at the end that help with staying active and motivated because there is no way I will ever go to gym in the near future. I liked reading this blog regardless because it addresses something that everyone can relate to which is body image. Good job!

Thank you for this blog. I think it is something that a lot of people can relate to and is good to read. It was also helpful because if you don't know where to start in a fitness journey you gave a rundown of how to start and what to do to keep up with the routine.
